How many BTU's???

How many BTU's??? 1 Month, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 0  
I just bought a 12,000 BTU a/c for my 460 Sq. ft. apartment, which is what is reccomended. Two people have told me to get a 15,000 instead, because supposedly it will cost less on my electric bill because the a/c won't have to work as hard. (something about the compressor???) Does anyone know if this is true? I really dont want to bring it back. It is the Kenmore 75151. I would get the kenmore that is exactly the same just 15k BTU's, which is 100$ more.
